Sequin Saturday by Jennifer Risey is semi-custom couture. Orders are typically shipped 7-14 days post order receipt. We ask for specific measurements during your order so our customers may be assured the best fit and not be locked into a mind-set of sizing. Just because you think you are an XS, doesn’t mean OUR XS cut will fit! Therefore, we ask for your chest measurements (chest and bust) as well as hips (and waist) in some cases to ensure the proper fit. During the ordering process, we will collect your email and contact you once we begin your order to truly give you a customized experience!
Measurement Instructions and Size Selection:
WE DON’T ASK BECAUSE WE ARE NOSEY, WE ARE ENSURING YOU GET THE BEST POSSIBLE PRODUCT WITH THE BEST POSSIBLE FIT.
With a measuring tape: Starting at the top of your body:
| BRA SIZE: | Provide your current bra size if requested (i.e. 36C) |
| BUST: OVERBUST: | Measure with tape the distance around the largest part of your breasts (over the nipple). Measure with tape the area around your armpits over your breastplate. |
| CHEST: | Measure with tape the distance around where your bra strap resides on your chest. |
| WAIST: | Measure with tape the distance around where your belly button is located. |
| HIPS: | Measure with tape the distance around the largest part of your bottom. |
Review the “Chart to guide you with your size. If we feel that the size you selected isn’t the right size, we will email you. If you require a “CUSTOM size”, just specify custom on your order and we’ll work with you to ensure the fit you desire.

Our dresses and jackets are available mostly in 5 lengths, typically dependent on the grain and type of fabric repeat, so you may choose the version that works best for your height. A maxi length dress may be the best length for a petite customer that wants the dress to be floor length, and Floor Tall is Jennifer’s go-to length because she’s 5’11” and likes to wear heels while hanging with her 6’7″ husband. We will contact you to clarify your specific length during the creation of your garment.
A 60″ Length dress may be a maxi length on a tall person. It’s all rather flexible. Best bet is to get out your measuring tape and measure a dress length in your closet and order according to lengths.
Lengths: The Lengths of Our Dresses are typically measured from the shoulder seam to the edge of the hem of the dress.
